Located in Eastbourne, Little Acorns provides a welcoming 15-bedroom residential environment for adults who require 24-hour support.
The home has been designed to combine the reassurance of staff support with the comfort and familiarity of everyday home life.
Each person is treated as an individual. Support is developed around assessed needs, strengths, risks, preferences and goals, with an emphasis on promoting stability, wellbeing and independence.
For people who have experienced long hospital admissions, previous placement breakdowns or periods of instability, having a consistent environment and trusted staff relationships can provide an important foundation for moving forward.
Who Little Acorns May Suit
Depending on individual assessment and compatibility, Little Acorns may be able to support adults with mental health and other complex support needs, including people with forensic or substance misuse histories and those who have experienced difficulties sustaining previous placements.
Every referral is assessed individually.
