Specialist Care Ltd does not deliberately use cookies or similar technologies for analytics, advertising or tracking on this website.
We do not currently operate a visitor login area or use technology to recognise people when they return to the website. For this reason, we do not currently display a cookie consent banner.
The contact page contains a map supplied by OpenStreetMap. Loading the map connects your browser to OpenStreetMap’s servers and shares certain technical information with that service.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website can place on your computer, phone or tablet when you visit.
They can be used to recognise your device when you return, keep you signed in, remember your preferences or measure how a website is used.
UK rules also cover certain technologies other than cookies when they store information on, or access information from, your device.

What we use
Based on our current internal testing, this website does not deliberately use:
- analytics cookies;
- advertising cookies;
- visitor-tracking cookies;
- tracking pixels;
- social-media tracking plugins;
- browser local storage for tracking;
- browser session storage for tracking; or
- technologies intended to recognise visitors across different websites.
We do not have a visitor login area, so we do not need cookies to keep website visitors signed in.
Normal technical information may still be processed by our website hosting provider when delivering the website. This can include information such as your IP address, browser type, requested page and the date and time of your request. More information about how we handle personal information is available in our Privacy Policy.
OpenStreetMap
Our contact page includes an embedded map provided by OpenStreetMap so that visitors can see the location of our head office.
When the map loads, your browser connects directly to OpenStreetMap’s servers. OpenStreetMap may receive technical information including:
- your IP address;
- your browser and device type;
- your operating system;
- the referring webpage;
- the date and time of access; and
- information about the map resources requested.
This processing is controlled by OpenStreetMap and is described in the OpenStreetMap Foundation Privacy Policy.
We do not use information received from the map to track visitors.
If you would prefer not to load the map, our written address and telephone number are provided on the same page. Please be aware that the map currently loads automatically when the contact page is opened.
Controlling cookies
You can control cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings. Depending on your browser, you can:
- block some or all cookies;
- delete cookies that have already been stored;
- block third-party cookies; or
- ask to be notified when a website attempts to set a cookie.
Blocking all cookies may prevent some other websites from working properly.
If our use of cookies changes
We will review this policy whenever the website or its third-party services change.
If we introduce cookies or similar technologies that require consent, we will:
- explain what they are and what they do;
- request consent before they are activated;
