We are developing small, nurturing residential services where young people can experience stability, build trusted relationships and receive support shaped around their individual needs.
We believe childhood should still feel like childhood.
A children's home should therefore be more than a service. It should be somewhere a young person can relax, personalise their space, laugh, learn, spend time with people they trust and experience the everyday moments that make a house feel like home.
Every young person is different.
Their experiences, strengths, needs, relationships and aspirations should therefore shape how they are supported.
Our developing approach is centred on providing safe, consistent environments where young people can feel listened to and supported to make positive progress.
Support will focus on areas including emotional wellbeing, relationships, education, health, community participation, life skills and preparation for adulthood.
Young people will be encouraged to participate meaningfully in decisions affecting their everyday lives and care.

Young people should have meaningful opportunities to influence their care and everyday lives.
We want the young people living with us to feel able to talk about what they enjoy, what concerns them, what they would like to change and what they want to achieve.
Their views should influence care planning, activities, routines and how their home develops.
Education & DevelopmentSupporting opportunity
Education can play an important role in a young person's development and future opportunities.
Our teams will work in partnership with education providers and relevant professionals to encourage engagement and achievement while recognising that each young person's educational journey is individual.
Development also happens beyond the classroom.
Activities, interests, relationships, community experiences and everyday responsibilities all provide opportunities to build confidence and new skills.
Preparing for Adulthood
As young people grow older, support should increasingly consider the practical and emotional skills needed for adulthood.
This may include developing confidence with cooking, budgeting, household responsibilities, appointments, travel, relationships, education, employment preparation, self-advocacy and understanding rights and responsibilities.
The pace and level of support will always reflect the individual young person's needs and development.
